This was the third project in the semester, previous two assignments used techniques using folds in a variety of ways to represent abstractions in 3D, and pop up books using old personal photos to tell a story. Here boys chose a scene from a book, looked at it for details describing key aspects of environment, characters, etc. The books used as the platform could have to do with story, but many did not. 

Example stories used: Moby Dick, Iliad, Harry Potter, Walden Pond, Winnie the Pooh, Alice in Wonderland, Narnia, Friday Night Lights, Slaughterhouse Five.
